Requirements for admission to a doctoral programme
• successful completion of the Master's programme in the time of enrolment
to the study;
• submission of electronic application;
• professional resume;
• 2 personal letters of recommendation up to 4 months old, an explicit
statement of prospective supervisor on the leadership of student, one letter
of recommendation may be from the expected supervisor, in this case,
may also contain an explicit statement on the leadership of student;
• Master Diploma and Diploma Supplement or state exam certificate
(original to the insight or send a certified copy);
• if the date of admission precedes the date of proper completion of study,
submission of full list of courses enrolled and completed, including grades
(confirmed by university/Study Department) and in the enrolment day
submission of the original Master Diploma and Diploma Supplement;
• In case of submission of study documents in a language other than Czech,
Slovak and English, faculty may request an officially certified translation
of these documents in Czech or English language;
• If you are interested in English study, submission of certificate about
language competences (statement of the applicant in case of native
speakers, the state exam certificate, TOEFL certificate, etc.) in
exceptional cases, the admission committee can recognize the language
competences of applicant according to an oral interview;
• payment for admissions fee;
• pass an oral entrance exam - the admission committee may waive this
condition, on the basis of the aforementioned written materials and its
own discretion.
