Measure of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine No. 1/2014
About the conditions of using the repository of employee
works at LF MU
dated 6.1.2014
In accordance with Article 3 of MU Directive No. 4/2013, "Repository of
Employee Works", I issue the following measure:
Article I.
Voluntary inclusion of published employee works in the repository
(1) In accordance with Article 3 of MU Directive No. 4/2013, I hereby stipulate that
the employees of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University (hereinafter
referred to as "MU Faculty of Medicine") are not obliged to enter their
created works to the Repository of Employee Works of the Masaryk
University Information System.
(2) MU employees are entitled to deposit in the repository any of their employee
works that exist in written form (paper or electronic) and have been
published.
(3) Staff using the repository services must take into account any rights of third
parties, in particular publishers and co-authors, in each work they upload.
Article II.
Rules for the insertion of employee works in the recording of results
(1) LF MU employees responsible for the administration, recording and reporting of
results are authorised to enter the results of other LF MU employees into the
Repository of Employee Works for these purposes, provided that:
- Completely restricts the rights of third parties, including MU
employees, to read and access the embedded file
- Does not put the embedded file under any free license
Article III.
Final provisions
(1) This measure shall enter into force on the date of its issue.
(2) I hereby delegate the interpretation of this measure to the Legal Department of
the Dean's Office of LF MU.
