Determination of the amount of study-related fees for the
academic year 2022/2023
Pursuant to Section 28(1) of Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions and
on Amendments and Additions to Other Acts (the Higher Education Act), as amended
(hereinafter referred to as the "Higher Education Act"), I issue the following measure:
Article 1
Determination of the amount of fees for the admission procedure
(1) Pursuant to the provisions of Section 58(5) of the Higher Education Act and Article 5
of Appendix No. 2 of the Statutes of Masaryk University (hereinafter referred to as
the "MU Statutes"), I hereby set the admission fees for the admission procedure for
the academic year 2022/2023 in accordance with Section 58(1) of the Higher
Education Act and Article 3 of Appendix No. 2 of the MU Statutes:

(2) Pursuant to the provisions of Section 58(5) of the Higher Education Act and Article 5
of Appendix No. 2 of the MU Statutes, I am setting the amount of fees for admission
to study in a foreign language for the admission procedure for the academic year
2022/2023 in accordance with Section 58(4) of the Higher Education Act and Article
4 of Appendix No. 2 of the MU Statutes:

Article 2
Determination of the amount of fees for study in a study programme conducted in a foreign
language
(1) Pursuant to the provisions of Section 58(5) of the Higher Education Act and Article
13 of Appendix No.2 of the MU Statutes, I am setting the amount of fees for study in

a study programme conducted in a foreign language for the academic year
2022/2023 in accordance with Section 58(4) of the Higher Education Act and Article
12 of Appendix No.2 of the MU Statutes:

Amounts are for one academic year.
(2) The amount of tuition fees for study programmes taught in English, as set out in this
measure, is valid for students commencing their studies in the academic year
2022/2023 and subsequent years.
(3) The amount of fees for study in study programmes taught in English is set for the
entire period of study in the given study programme and will remain unchanged for
the entire period of study in the respective study programme.
(4) The amount of fees for students enrolled prior to the entry into force of this measure
shall be set according to the fees in force at the time of their enrolment in order to
comply with the Faculty's commitment not to increase tuition fees during the course
of their studies.
(5) The tuition fee for the first academic year of each programme of study in an Englishlanguage
programme of study is payable on the date of enrolment in the Englishlanguage
programme of study.
(6) The tuition fee for each academic year following the year of commencement of the
study programme (2nd year and above) is due on 15 September of the academic
year.
(7) The student is entitled to divide the tuition fee into two equal instalments. The first
instalment is due within the time limits set out in paragraphs (5) and (6), the second
instalment is due on 15 February of the relevant academic year.
Article 3
Determination of the fee for verification of foreign education
(1) In accordance with Section 48(7) of the Higher Education Act, I hereby set the fee
for the verification of foreign education for applicants for admission to Bachelor's,
Master's and Doctoral studies in the academic year 2022/2023, in accordance with
Section 48(4) of the Act, at CZK 750.
Article 4
Determination of payment for selected lifelong learning
(1) In accordance with Article 9 of the Masaryk University Lifelong Learning Regulations,
I am setting the amount of fees for admission to lifelong learning programmes for
the academic year 2022/2023:

(2) In accordance with Article 9 of the Regulations of Lifelong Learning Masaryk
University , I hereby set the amount of the fee for education in the Czech language
for the academic year 2022/2023.

The participant in the lifelong learning programme is obliged to pay the amount in
two instalments by paying 50% of the fixed fee no later than the date of enrolment
in the first semester and the remaining 50% no later than the date of enrolment in
the second semester.
(3) In accordance with Article 9 of the Regulations of Lifelong Learning of Masaryk
University, for the academic year 2022/2023 I am setting the amount of the fee for
education in lifelong learning programmes - education in individual subjects:

The participant in the lifelong learning programme is obliged to pay the amount in

(4) In accordance with Article 9 of the Regulations of Lifelong Learning of Masaryk
University, for the academic year 2022/2023 I am setting the amount of the fee for
education in lifelong learning programmes - education in a foreign language:

The participant in the lifelong learning program is obliged to pay the amount in one
payer, no later than the day before the start of the course.
Article 5
Final provisions
(1) I hereby delegate the interpretation of the individual provisions of this measure to
the Vice-Dean for Teaching in Preclinical Fields of General Medicine of the Faculty of
Medicine.
(2) Compliance with this measure is monitored by the LF MU Secretary.
(3) This measure shall enter into force and take effect on the date of its publication.
