Masaryk University Faculty of Medicine Measure No. 5/2021
On the requirements of the habilitation thesis at
the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University
Pursuant to Section 28(1) of Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions and
on Amendments and Supplements to Other Acts (the Higher Education Act), as amended
(hereinafter referred to as the Higher Education Act), I issue the following measure:
Article 1
Basic provisions
1. This measure establishes the requirements for submitting a habilitation thesis to the
Faculty of Arts MU in accordance with Masaryk University Directive No. 7/2017,
Habilitation and Appointment Procedures (hereinafter referred to as the "Directive").
Article 2
Requirements of a habilitation thesis at LF MU
1. The habilitation thesis pursuant to Article 5(1)(a) to (c) of the Directive, including the
abstract or commentary, is submitted by the candidate in the habilitation procedure at
the MU Faculty of Medicine in electronic form only. The candidate shall submit an
electronic version of the habilitation thesis in a *.pdf file.
2. Other requirements of the habilitation thesis, including its subsequent archiving, are
laid down in the Directive, in particular Article 5 thereof, and in the relevant statutory
regulations.
Article 3
Final provisions
1. The Head of the Qualifications Development Department is responsible for interpreting
the individual provisions of this measure and updating it.
2. Compliance with this measure is monitored by the Vice-Dean for Science, Doctoral Studies and
Organisational Development of LF MU.
3. This measure shall enter into force on the date of its promulgation.
