Healthy lifestyle promotion of Roma children

Podpora zdravého životního stylu u romských dětí

Abstract: Diplomová práce „Podpora zdravého životního stylu romských dětí“ nahlíží na problematiku zdravého životního stylu dětí z romského etnika. Cílem této práce je vytvořit preventivní program speciálně upravený pro romské děti, tento program následně vyzkoušet v praxi a pomocí rozhovorů zjistit, jaké jsou znalosti romských děti v oblasti zdravého životního stylu. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na dvě části - na teoretickou a empirickou. První část popisuje obecně zdraví, složky zdravého životního stylu a programy na podporu zdraví. V poslední kapitole teoretické části se věnuji romskému etniku, především romským dětem a jejich vztahu ke zdraví. Empirická část obsahuje vytvořený a v praxi ověřený preventivní program, doplněný metodikou pro učitele, časovou dotací a cíly jednotlivých lekcí. Dále praktická část zahrnuje výsledky rozhovorů, které jsem s romskými žáky uskutečnila před i po skončení samotného preventivního programu. …moreless

Abstract: The thesis „Healthy lifestyle promotion of Roma children“ refers to some problems of a healthy lifestyle of children from the Roma ethnic group. The goal of this work is to create a special preventive program modified for the Roma children, test this program in practice and according to the discussions find out, what is the knowledge of the Roma children in the area of their healthy lifestyle. The thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and empirical. The first part describes health, parts of the healthy lifestyle and programs for supporting health in general. The last chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to the Roma ethnic, above all to the Roma children and their relation to health. The empirical part contains a formed and tested preventive program, completed by a special teaching methodology, time limit and the goals of lessons.
