Přestavba chrámu sv. Petra a Pavla v Brně na přelomu 19. a 20. století

Abstract: Anotace: Práce zkoumá přestavbu chrámu svatého Petra a Pavla v Brně v 19. a 20. století, hlavně tedy z hlediska uměleckohistorického, nezapomíná však ani na hledisko historické. Práce popisuje též historii chrámu, která trvá skoro 900 let. Stavba je popsána jak vypadala v 19. století před regotizační úpravou a pak ve 20. století po přestavbě. Závěrečná část práce podává základní přehled o autorech přestavby chrámu (August Prokop a August Kirstein).

Abstract: Annotation This diploma thesis examines rebuilding of St. Peters and Pauls cathedral in Brno in the 19th and the 20th century from the standpoint of art history, however, it does not neglect the historical implications of the structure.
