Exchange students are registered electronically to the university Information System upon their admission, a full record on the student including personal and contacting details and study evidence is inserted to the Information System (is.muni.cz) by the responsible officer at the Office for International Studies or the Office for international Relations at the faculty level.
Course registration at Masaryk University is done online through the university Information System IS (is.muni.cz) directly by the student, registration periods prior to the beginning of each academic semester are set by each MU faculty. Information about IS, guidelines on course registration, detailed academic calendar including the registration and enrollment dates and login and password details are sent to each exchange student along with their admission package by post. However, for administrative reasons final registration of exchange students is made by the admission office at the beginning of every academic semester as part of the orientation week programme (if a student comes after the orientation week period, the registration is done at the individual departments upon the arrival of the student).

Students are provided with a study guide of the faculty they were admitted to; the selection of their courses should be made based on that.
