Junior Meteorologist (m/w)
Would you like to boom your meteorological and hydrological knowledge and participate on providing
meteorological support to customers (senior meteorologists, traders and analysts) which are global
leaders in their industry? Are you interested to be part of a dynamic and enthusiastic Pan-European team?
We search for new colleagues who will participate on development of new tools and approaches in the
mid- and long-term forecasting, incl. temperature/hydrological/wind and solar forecasts.
Responsibilities & tasks
 Provides technical and knowledge support to senior meteorologists
 Builds and sustains know-how in weather forecasting
 Cooperates with the team on daily basis
 Builds and sustains a relationship with all internal clients
 Acts as an deputy during the absence of senior meteorologists in the future
Role requirements
 Student in Master’s program/Ph.D. student with focus on Meteorology/Climatology or Hydrology
 Advanced written and spoken English (other languages as advantage)
 Basics of programming (VBA, Matlab) or strong willingness to learn it
 Proactive approach to challenges
 Very good communication skills, analytical thinking
 Ability to handle stress
