About the course:

- aimed at students of geology at approx. B1 level

- helps prepare for JA001 exam (a compulsory language exam in the bachelor programme: https://cjv.sci.muni.cz/zkousky


CREDIT REQUIREMENTS:

- attendance (you can miss 2 classes with no excuse needed or wanted)

- completed homework on a regular basis (see the given week in the interactive syllabus)

- assignments: 

  • formal email  (deadline 19th Nov) - upload to "odevzdavarna"
  • vocabulary glossary based on a video/podcast - 5 technical terms (deadline Sunday 26th Nov)  Glossary Monday group 
  • short presentation of a video / podcast (max. 5 minutes) - Weeks 12 or 13
  • summary of the video/podcast 200-250 words (deadline 31st Dec)
