Course objectives
The main objective of the course is prosthetics and orthotics. Prosthetics and orthotics is a medico-technical field, which means compensation of lost function and parts of the body by technical means. The students learn the prosthesis, replacing lost parts of the body and some of the functions of these lost parts of the body. The aim of the course is to teach the correct application of the principles physiotherapist prosthetics and orthotics devices. Physiotherapist also educates patients for the use and handling of technical means.
