Course objectives
The course is focused on chemical, physical and biological examination methods of non-clinical samples. The course includes baselines for statistical analyses, analytical strategies and special procedures for the analyses of water, soils, sediments, biotic samples, foodstuffs, objects of everyday use, wastes, environmental air and working atmosphere; from sampling procedures up to the evaluation of the results in relation to both Czech and European legislation. After completion of a course student will have expert knowledge about chemical, physical and biological examination methods of non-clinical samples. Student will be able to understand and explain principles of methods using in environmental monitoring and to use baselines for statistical analyses. Student will be able to make valid decision about analytical strategies and special procedures for the analyses of water, soils, sediments, biotic samples, foodstuffs, and objects of everyday use, wastes, environmental air and working atmosphere; from sampling procedures up to the evaluation of the results in relation to both Czech and European legislation.
