Course objectives
At the end of this exercise a student will be able to define normative spectacle correction terms, will be able to go through their dividing and correction goals. The student will be able to judge appropriateness of the anatomical, esthetical and optical parameters for spectacle completing from basic components and their adaptation in relation to given anatomical and physiological proportions of the future user. The student evaluates static of the spectacle, conditions for securing of the appropriate comfort by using and applies knowledge from branch of elasticity and solidity on their conception.

Syllabus
  • Spectacle lenses, theirs distribution, measure, specification and signs
  • Optical complex of glasses and human pair eyes
  • Requirements on the centering of spectacle lenses
  • Bending of glasses centre
  • Respecting of axial position of corrective spectacle lenses before eye
  • Systematic adjustment and adaptation of glasses
