Course objectives
Midwifery practice is very important part of educational programme. Opportunity for applying theoretical knowledge in clinical workstations is afforded. It introduces knowledge and practical skills from the field of midwifery care for woman and newborn (perinatology delivery room, childbed RI). It presents a solution of the midwifery care process. Students are familiarised with activities in gravidity consulting room, during childbirth and during childbed are offered to be solved, as well as care for newborn. Students work under the supervision of tutors and mentors on accredited stations. Subject objectives- student will be able to: - identify individual bio-psycho-socio-spiritual needs of clients using diagnostic algorithm; - propose, execute and evaluate efficiency of care plan in cooperation with multidisciplinary team; - work with medical documentation; - treat clients professionally and emphatically; - retain the latest knowledge and to apply them in day to day work;
Learning outcomes
The Student will after completing the course able to: provide appropriate care to the woman in the gynecological clinic;meet the needs of expectant mothers with regular delivery; provide care to you; provide care to a pregnant woman in the prenatal clinic;provide care to a woman and newborn after a regular birth.

Type of completion: Credit, Evaluation of students – completion conditions: 100% presence in practise lessons, seminary work - global antepartum investigation specified in women , the test takes place in the natural clinical setting in the hospital.
