Course objectives
Students will gain knowledge and skills needed to implement nursing activities in the field of pre-hospital and hospital emergency care.
Learning outcomes
Students will acquire the knowledge and skills needed to carry out nursing activities in pre-hospital and hospital emergency care in the subject areas.
Syllabus
  • Nursing care for patients with failure of vital functions, unconscious, subdued. Specifics of pre-hospital emergency care.
  • Nursing care focused on nutrition and hydration of children and adults in the IP.
  • Nursing care of the child and adult patients with pain, analgesia options in emergency medicine and urgent care.
  • Specifics applications infusion therapy and transfusion work with vasopressors, blood pressure compensation, the use of infusion pumps.
  • Nursing care in providing access to the central vasculature, the choice of the field hospital in an emergency, puncture of peripheral and central veins, Intraosseous inputs, technology input, use injektomatů, perfusor. Puncture of the arterial bed.
