Course objectives
The aim of the course is conditional preparation for the rescue profession.
- power preparation for lifting heavy loads
- endurance training in in / outdoor environment
- motion coordination and motion technology in mountainous terrain
- the basics of building power and endurance programs
- movement and orienteering in the night terrain of the mountain environment
- Transport injured in the mountain environment
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
Demonstrate basic strength training techniques - benchpress, squats wdead lift and pull ups
- Demonstrate the level of endurance skills: complete a 6km course
- Demonstrate strengths:
- bench press (1 *) 90% of own weight
- repeated squat (3 *) up to 90th. 100% of own weight
- pull up with own weight (male 10 *, female 5 *)
- Demonstrate the basic techniques of cross-country skiing and walking in snowshoes
- To navigate both the unfamiliar and the night mountain terrain with map, bus, and GPS
- Provide assistance and secure the transport of the wounded in the mountain terrain

  • Basic movement skills and techniques (running, bench press, squats)

  • Technique of power exercises
  • Development of strength skills - methods, practice - fitness training
  • Development of endurance skills - method, practice - fitness training
  • Field orientation, practice
  • Cross-country skiing - practice techniques, fitness training
  • Snowshoeing - practice techniques, fitness training
  • Transport of injured - professional practical training
