Course objectives
The subject is conceived as practical. The goal is to consolidate knowledge and acquire the necessary skills for nursing care with involutional changes, aggravated health conditions, and age-specific illnesses while taking into account the needs of seniors altered in relation to illness.
Learning outcomes
Student:
knows the differences in the individual needs of people of older age groups and the way they are satisfied, including the diversity of multidisciplinary care for the elderly in the field of outpatient and inpatient health services.
Syllabus
  • Nursing management in the diseases of individual body systems, specifics of nursing in pre-hospital and hospital emergency care, the most common acute conditions and their solutions.
