Syllabus
  • In this course, there are NO TRADITIONAL LESSONS. Instead, students are evaluated solely through an exam, which consists of a written component (50 % of the total grade) and an oral component (50 % of the total grade). At the beginning of the semester, students receive a mass email detailing the requirements for completing both parts of the exam, including alternative completion options. For alternative fulfillment, examples include: i) Submission of an already published article in English as the first author or corresponding author to fulfill the written part. ii) Confirmation from the conference organizers regarding the presentation of a conference contribution in English. A mere certificate of attendance is NOT sufficient. IMPORTANT NOTE: Students who entered the doctoral programme in September 2023 and later are no longer required to take the English course.
