Pochopení základních principů epidemiologie infekčních nemocí a zvládnutí praktických úkonů spojených s prevencí s důrazem na laboratorní provoz.
Learning outcomes (in Czech)
Student bude schopen
- základních úkonů spojených s dekontaminací, dezinfekcí a sterilizací.
Porozumí základům hygieny zdravotnických zařízení, surveillance infekcí spojených se zdravotní péčí (ISZP).
Bude umět organizovat a zabezpečovat bezpečnost laboratorních provozů.
Bude zvládat správnou manipulaci s biologickým materiálem.
Bude schopen hodnocení provozně- epidemiologických řádů, kontroly režimu laboratorního pracoviště.
Bude umět provést mikrobiologickou kontrolu prostředí a kontrolu dezinfekčních a sterilizačních postupů.
Bude rozumět a ovládne zásady hygieny rukou - mikrobiální kontrolu, kontrolu správnosti provedení.

  • 1. Principles and objectives of epidemiology. Process of disease spread. Characteristics of infectious agents. Classification of infectious diseases.
  • 2. Anti-epidemic measures. Disease surveillance and epidemiological vigilance system.
  • 3. Active and passive immunization.
  • 4. Respiratory infections.
  • 5. Alimentary infections.
  • 6. Hepatitis. HIV/AIDS.
  • 7. Sexually transmitted infections.
  • 8. Zoonoses.
  • 9. Parasitic infections.
  • 10. Epidemiological aspects of the operation of health care facilities. Basic hygiene conditions.
  • 11. Safety of laboratory operations. Operating regulations. Occupational diseases.
  • 12. Methods of disinfection and sterilization. Clean rooms. Microbial control of environmental contamination.
  • 13. Hand hygiene.
  • 14. Current epidemiological situation and infectious threats.
