Course objectives
The aim of the theoretical part of the preparation is to provide detailed information on methodologies using the latest knowledge of the field with respect to the current state of routine application of new techniques and technologies. Fundamentals of indication and interpretation of laboratory methods in relation to clinical units and diagnoses. In the practical part of the training, gain practical skills of such a magnitude that allow the graduate to be easily assigned to clinical laboratory teams;
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course the student will be able to: actively assess the correctness of indication and interpretation of biochemical laboratory examination; to reliably detect and respond to instances of interference; communicate appropriately with clinicians; to respond appropriately to outlier findings; to have an overview of the used analytical principles and to know their limits; to follow standard analytical, technical and logistical operation guides.
