Course objectives
The course will provide knowledge in the field of education and adult education so that students are able to understand the theoretical knowledge of pedagogy and to use this knowledge in their educational activities for clients, family and co-workers.
Students will be actively involved in the educational process and will have the opportunity to practice their knowledge and skills in the model situations. When teaching will be used interdisciplinary relationships.
Syllabus
  • Education as a Science (defining the concept of pedagogy, relationship to other sciences, industry structure, basic concepts). Patterns and types of learning, learning styles, educational diagnostics. The concept and principles of educational communication and their application in the educational process, the factors influencing this process. The process of education - evaluation and assessment of educator, evaluation of educational needs. Designing education, educational objectives, teaching principles, teaching forms, teaching methods, teaching materials and teaching techniques, compiling educational plans. The implementation of the educational process. Documentation educational process, evaluation of the educational process. Personality educator. Educational standards. Study support for lay and professional public, the creation of textbooks. Educational programs in the EU and in CR. Educational maps.

Theoretical lectures supplemented with annotated examples, students are encouraged to ask questions relating to the subject matter.
Assessment methods
The course ends with an exam.
Conditions for its fulfillment is 100% participation in seminars, presentations and seminar educational work from the area of ​​intensive care medicine, including narrative information material.
