Course objectives
To provide a general nurse with the concept and development of intensive medicine, to provide basic information on crisis management and its synergies within the integrated rescue system, and to prepare a general nurse for performing basic diagnostic and therapeutic exercises in intensive medicine and for providing highly specialized nursing care in patients undergoing anesthesia. The student will be involved in the care of patients in the course of their practice in accordance with Decree No. 55/2011 Coll. (as amended) in the General Nursing branch with specialized Capability - Senior for intensive care.
Learning outcomes
Students will: · Control basic diagnostic and therapeutic performances performed in intensive anesthesia medicine, · Able to orientate in the field of anesthesiology, · Able to orientate in the differences of anesthesia in individual operating fields, · Able to focus on pain relief, · Focused on crisis preparedness, disaster medicine, · To know the specifics of oxygen therapy in intensive medicine, · To know the differences in basic support of life with respect to age categories, · Know how to diagnose and monitor individual organ systems in intensive care, · To know the basic complementary examinations used in intensive care and to be able to assess them. Students acquire skills: · Apply hygienic and antiepidemic mode of work, · To orientate in the basic PNP procedures, · Being able to provide basic life support (BLS) · Control basic diagnostic and therapeutic performances performed in algeciology, · Care for patients with an implantable subcutaneous portal, · On the basis of the doctor's indication, perform artery puncture, · By radialis artery canalisation, based on the doctor's indication Students participate: · To provide extended life support (ALS) when using the aids available at intensive medicine centers, · To perform heart defibrillation by electric discharge and stimulation of heart rhythm using chest electrodes, · Providing highly specialized nursing care to patients · After cardiopulmonary resuscitation, · To ensure airway passage without aid and under the supervision of a physician and with the aids available at intensive care workplaces, · For the application of specific oxygen therapy in intensive medicine, · For application of blood transfusion products and blood derivatives, · Based on the doctor's indication for artery puncture, · Radialis artery cannulation based on the doctor's indication.
Syllabus
  • Practice takes place at the medical rescue service, anesthesiology-resuscitation workplace (in the field of anesthesia), an ambulance of pain. Students acquire skills: • CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) of adult (possibly on model) 5x • CRP of the child (possibly on the model) 2x • Ensuring airway passage without aids 10x • Ensuring the airway through the laryngeal mask 5x • Patient ventilation with a 10x mask hand mask • Basic physical examination of the patient conscious 5x • Basic physical examination of the unconscious patient 5x • Evaluation of monitored parameters (respiration, TK, P, TT, O2 saturation, ECG) in a 5x conscious patient • Evaluation of monitored parameters (respiration, TK, P, TT, O2 saturation, ECG) in unconscious patient 5x • Assistance in ensuring airway through the endotracheal cannula 10x • Ensuring the passage of the airway through the endotracheal cannula (on the model) 10x • Ensuring the passage of the airways through the endotracheal cannula 2x • Preparation and administration of transfusion products and blood derivatives 5x • Catheterization of the bladder can be 5 times • Extubation of the patient 2x • Evaluating the depth of analgosedation using evaluation methodologies 5x • Introduction and verification of the gastric probe in the unconscious patient 3x • Artery puncture 2x
