Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarized as follows: students will be able to understand general issues of pedagogical and psychological diagnostics; they will be informed about the methods of pedagogical and psychological diagnostics; they will learn how to analyze ethical problems of diagnostics, opportunities and limits of diagnostics; they will recognize the domains of pedagogical and psychological diagnostics.

  • 2.School diagnostics.
  • 3.School readiness.
  • 4.Unsuccessful individual or early failures of a child.
  • 5.Diagnostics of a learner, school environment.
  • 6.Diagnostics of a school (classroom) climate.
  • 7.Professional orientation.
  • 8.Methods of diagnosing the process and results of education and instruction.
  • 9.Pedagogical diagnostics in educational activities.
  • 10.Diagnostics of selected negative social phenomena.
  • 11.Methods of psychodiagnostics.
  • 12.Psychological methods and their properties. Overview.
  • 13.Clinical methods: observation, interview, rozhovor, anamnesis, analysis of spontaneous products.
  • 14.Test methods : performance tests, personality tests (projective tests, objective tests, questionnaires, scales).
  • 15.Demonstration of selected methods.
  • 16.Social, ekonomic a ethical aspects of psychological testing.
  • 17.Educational -psychological findings - writing a report.
