Course objectives
The aim of the course is to get acquainted with the basics of social psychology and the possibilities of application of socio-psychological knowledge in socioprofessional practice.

The aim of the course is to get acquainted with the basics of social psychology and the possibilities of application of socio-psychological knowledge in socioprofessional practice.
Syllabus
  • Social psychology - object and subject of social psychology; the position of social psychology in the system of psychological disciplines; the importance of studying social psychology for teachers and professions in the fields of education, guidance, management, care and therapy; possibilities of application of social-psychological knowledge in the practice of teacher and educator; applied social psychology. Humanization of a person - socialization of personality - psychological characteristic of the process of socialization of an individual; processes of personalization, culture, professionalization and socialization; the specifics of controlled socialization (education) and other socialization mechanisms and influences; criteria of socialization effectiveness. Socialization products. Social learning as a psychological mechanism of socialization; social empowerment, imitation, identification; conditions of social learning effectiveness. Conditions of Social Learning Effectiveness. Social learning, cultivation and education. Psychology of interpersonal relations basic features of interactions (relativity, stimulation, influence); interaction effect criteria (activity, level of mediation, values); Types of synergy (coexistence, coordination, cooperation, rivalry, competition, reciprocity); some possibilities of psychological analysis of interpersonal relationships. Interactive style. Communication - communication content; types and styles of communication; effective communication. Pathological communication. Communication fuses. Possibilities of cultivating communication skills. Attribution perception - sensitivity; situational perceptions; shaping the image of another person, the sources of perception and the assessment of another person; errors in perception; attribution, self-perception and self-esteem. Social characteristics and personality traits - cooperativity - sociability - tolerance - social creativity - opinions and attitudes - relational attitudinal characteristics of personality. Social support. Types, mechanisms. Social support in teacher work. Psychological characteristics of the social group focusing on the small social group, characteristics, attributes of the social group - the structure and dynamics of a small social group; group of standards, objectives and ways of achieving them; Team; team roles. Problem, difficult and conflicting social situations (frustration - deprivation - stress: socio-psychological point of view), conflict situations (intra- and intergroup conflicts, role conflicts, frustration as a social situation, frustration as a condition, typical pupils' frustration; situations of frustration and stress, stress - socio-psychological perspective, frustration tolerance, social factors of resistance to stress and frustration, deprivation (social) - consequences. Activating methods and procedures applied by SP The final synthetic synthesis of the SP knowledge system, event. free subject according to students' interest.
