Course objectives
The course aims to acquaint students with problems of health care systems with a typology of individual health care systems and institutions and with fundamentals of health policy.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to:
- understand health policy concepts;
- recognize societal values that influence health policy and health systems;
- describe the typology of world health systems;
- understand the issue of public health insurance in the Czech Republic;
- describe health care institutions and their classification in the Czech Health System;
