Prerequisites
Seminars revise the knowledge discussed at the Biology lectures - knowledge from the lectures is required.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is only offered to the students of the study fields the course is directly associated with.
fields of study / plans the course is directly associated with
Course objectives
The aim of the seminars is to revise and deepen the knowledge discussed at the respective Biology lecture, and especially to put them in a broader medical context. By interactive problem-solving tasks students will practise how to apply theoretical knowledge into medical practice.

Teaching methods
Seminar is organized in an interactive way based on class discussions, problem solving and voting using a voting system.
Assessment methods
Seminar attendance is mandatory.
Requirements for course completion - full attendance in the seminars (1 absence, excused or unexcused, is allowed). Other absences have to be excused by the Office for Studies within 5 days from the beginning of the absence and introduced into the Information System (IS).
Students continue with following subjects without proof of this semester's knowledge. The subject is followed by Biology II-lecture (VLBI0222p) that is completed with a written examination test covering the knowledge of all Biology topics from both semesters (lectures, seminars, practices).
