Syllabus
  • Seminars and clinical practices 1st day: The history of the illness. The reflexes. 2nd day: Examination of the cranial nerves I.-VI. 3rd day: Examination of the cranial nerves VII.-XII. 4th day: Examination of the motor system. Testing of the muscle strength. Types of the motor paralysis. 5th day: Examination of the sensation. Topical spinal cord and brainstem syndromes. 6th day: Neurological examination of the neonate and the child. Developmental neurology. 7th day: Examination of the cerebellar and the extrapyramidal system. 8th day: Examination of the spine. Radicular syndromes. Principles of physiotherapy. 9th day: Meningeal syndrome. Intracranial hypertension. Examination of unconscious patient. Brain death. Glasgow coma scale. 10th day: Investigation of the patient with neurological disease (electroencephalography, electromyography, evoked potentials, ultrasonography, neuroradiology, biochemical testing, examination of the cerebrospinal fluid).
