Course objectives
This newly introduced subject focuses on overview exercising of substantial problems from the point of view of anatomist, embryologist, physiologist, pathological physiologist, pathologist, microbiologist, immunologist and finally, corresponding clinician. Using this approach we will conceptually approach closer to strategy of USMLE, Step 1.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to: - understand and explain the basic concepts of regeneration and repair of human tissues. - nderstand the term stem cell and understand their role in the wound healing process. - focus on the issue of calcium metabolism in the human body, its importance and regulation of its level in the body. - list and explain the principle of laboratory examinations used in monitoring calcium metabolism.

Teaching methods
Education will be realised by interactive seminars, practicals and lections. Practical training (about 100 % of the total volume of teaching) is complemented by a problem based learning with virtual patiensts.
Assessment methods
Education will be realised by interactive seminars, practicals and lections. Traditional methods are complemented by objective clinical evaluation that verifies clinical knowledge and other skills such as communication, physical examination, performance, performance interpretation, etc. This evaluation method provides students with objective and specific feedback.
