Course objectives
Seznámit se s genomikou, transkriptomikou a epigenomikou. Porozumět metodám umožňujícím studium celého genomu – čipové technologie a sekvenování nové generace. Obeznámit se s využitím moderních metod v současném biomedicínském výzkumu.
Syllabus
  • 1. Introduction - genomics 2.-3. Microarray technologies CGH, SNP, resequencing, expression, protein arrays) 4.-6. Next-generation sequencing(454, SMRT, sequencing by synthesis, sequencing by ligation, iontorent) 7-8. Methods for miRNA analysis, miRNA in biomedicine reserch 9-10. Aplications - modern technologies in genomics, transkriptomics, epigenomics 11. Analysis of protein interactions with specific sequences in genome 12. Other approaches: Fluidigm, Sequenom, Luminex, Nanostring
