Course objectives
The course introduces to medical ethics, focussing on ethics in dentistry.
The aim is:
- to inform about ethical dilemmas in dentistry
- to develop ability to perceive ethical aspects of health care
- to learn to prevent problems applying professional ethical standards
Learning outcomes
After completing the subject the student: - is able to define the terms - is able to identify, to analyze, and to solve moral dilemmas in dentistry - is able to apply ethical principles to the given case - is able to use an ethical argument
