Course objectives
The main aim of this course is to acquire deeper knowledge of head and neck structures in connection with clinical practice.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course student will be able to:
- describe the detailed morphology of the upper and lower jaws, the skull as a whole, the jaw joint and the muscles of the orofacial system
- apply acquired morphological knowledge to clinical practice (anesthesia, extraction, implantology, spread of infection, maxillofacial surgery, etc.)
- identify the basic craniometric and kefalometric points, which will then be used for the analysis of the telerentgen image in orthodontics
