Course objectives
This lecture aims to give students the basic knowledge in methods of zooarcheology (anatomical and species determination of bones, morphometry and statistical evaluation of data, determination of age, etc.). It is also focused on taphonomic and pathological phenomenas on the bones (traces of human activity, gnawing marks by carnivores, fractures, etc.).
