Course description: An outline of European archaeology history. Antiquarian, archaeological (empirical), prehistoric (rational) stages. Contemporary archaeology and its schools of thoughts. History of Czech and Moravian archaeology. Common and diverse development traces. Important persons and their works. Current organization of the Czech archaeology.
