- interest on methodology of archaeological practice, especially on IT in archaeology and interpretative models and simulation creation - interest on e-learning

Course objectives
- student will meet one concrete archaeological method in every lesson - student will obtain information to teoretical background, to range, process, benefits and limits of concrete methods used in international archaeological plenum - student will be able to choose the best method for the concrete scientific reason, with regarding to its efectivity, financial requierements and all funcional conditions
Syllabus
  • - 5 lessions of methods of archaeological data IT processing (on-line sources, virtual 3D reassembling, mobil communication on archaeological research and presentation, correspondence and cluster analysis, AI in archaeology) - lesson/workshop with main part of activity from students part - 5 lessons of interpretative models and simulation creation (mobility models, hierarchization of social landscape models, socio-environmental dynamic models, social stratification models, agent-based analysis) - lesson/workshop with main part of activity from students part

Teaching methods
E-LEARNING COURSE OVÝ KURZ 24/7 - 12 lessons - lessson include AV record of lesson and further reading - student give a feedback to teacher by test - the goal is assure an understanding to the lession; student fill the test from own PC (it is not real test) - test results are regarded only with other serious references of poor motivation to work in a course - student will elaborate and upload a recherche of one article - student will contribute to forum in workshop lessons and to collective dictionary - student can go through a course as quick as he/she wish, after finishing of one part, other parts appear - only tests has deadlines
Assessment methods
- hodnocena je rešerše z cizojazyčného odborného článku - only recherche is strictly evaluated - very good discussion text is asked at two fora - ten tematical items to collective dictionary is aked - test are obligatory, nevertheless its results are not evaluated; teacher only give comments and explications to bad answers - nevertheless if bad results are permanent and bold, it may be reason of zero credits
