Course objectives
For students who succeeded in Interpreting I, Interpreting II should be the next logical step in becoming an interpreter. All forms of consecutive interpreting, including liaison and dialogue interpreting will be discussed and practised. The training will include a wide range of text types, visitors speeches and as well as role-plays to replicate authentic events. Last but not least, cross-cultural challenges, stress management and etiquette are an essential part of the course. Coping with terminology and preparation for specialized interpreting will also be included.

  • For students who succeeded in Interpreting I, Interpreting II should be the next logical step in becoming an interpreter. Assessment methods (in Czech)
Seminární práce a cvičení. Hodnocení: domácí příprava a aktivní práce v kurzu, závěrečná praktická zkouška a test z teorie.
