Cíle předmětu
The course will look at aspects of reflective prose writing produced as a result of journeys taken around the various regions of England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland and,in the final stages of the course, other parts of the world. The aim will be to investigate and compare these regions and to analyse and compare the representations considered. The primary focus will be on twentieth century and mainly post-war writing, although a certain degree of historical perspective will be provided. The course will also include a film component.
