Prerequisites (in Czech): Požadavky jsou v souladu s obecnými požadavky platnými pro zkoušku z cizích jazyků na Filozofické fakultě MU.

Course objectives (in Czech): Písemná část zkoušky: uchazeč vypracuje resumé (asi 150 slov) článku o rozsahu 1-2 stran z časopisů Time, Newsweek, apod. Ústní část zkoušky: uchazeč si na ni připraví 100 stran anglického textu ze svého oboru, na místě přečte a přeloží namátkou zvolenou pasáž. Následuje rozmluva v angličtině, během níž zkoušející klade doplňující otázky k právě přečtenému textu a diskutuje s uchazečem o jeho vědecké práci.
