Course objectives
The first introduction to the Croatian / Serbian language, basic vocabulary: conversational formulas, addressing, greetings, the ability to have completely simple conversation, the ability to describe the people and the environment. The basic grammatical rules: the correct pronunciation of Croatian / Serbian letters, stress, reading and writing texts in the Cyrillic (Serbian), the most important declination of masculinum femininum and neutrum types, present tense forms of verbs, future tense.
Syllabus
  • Lessons of practical Croatian / Serbian language, basic vocabulary, expressions necessary for the normal everyday communication, a system of nouns, verb types, basic prepositional structures, the most important conjunctions. Lessons are based on the structure of the textbooks (Srpski jezik za strance, Učimo hrvatski, Dobro došli, Srpskohrvatski jezik za strance, Srbocharvátština pro samouky, etc.).
