Course objectives
The aim of a language course Croatian / Serbian is the expansion of vocabulary, understanding text (read and listened); practice verbs and prepositions, Croatian punctuation, synonyms, antonyms, deminutivs, augmentativs, names of nationalities, declination and conjugation; comparative analysis of Czech and Croatian / Serbian phrases and idioms. The students each week should write an essay on the topic that is given.
Syllabus
  • Serbian language: the words of foreign origin and their equivalents, lexicology - professions, lexicology - profession and tools, phraseology - how to say? (easy as ...), slang, interview, slang expressions, review, active and passive adjectives, formation of nouns, interview, revision words of foreign origin, jargon, phrases, synonyms and antonyms, "da" or "što"

Assessment methods
The course is completed as zápočet. To finish it successfully student must attend seminars (80% attendance), to participate at lessons, to write all the essays and succeed in the final written test.
