Course objectives
The aim of this seminar is to teach students how to write a review of linguistic works. Basic aims of a review will be dealt with, which will serve as a starting point for getting acquainted with formal features of this genre in saxonic and teutonic contexts. Students will have an opportunity to write their own review. The seminar will follow the model introduced in the book by U. Eco (see below).
Syllabus
  • The aim of this seminar is to teach students how to write a review of linguistic works. Basic aims of a review will be dealt with, which will serve as a starting point for getting acquainted with formal features of this genre in saxonic and teutonic contexts.
