Course objectives
Seminar is focused on facts concerning situation of proper names in Early Modern Age from 16th to 18th century. It pays attention to basic information about onomastic theory, then to social situation in Early Modern Age, archive sources and publication, development and classification of proper names. Then students use their knowledge in their final project on the arrange theme.

Teaching methods
Seminar is more theoretic in first part of semester and it has the form of the teacher’s explanations. In second part of semester students use their knowledge actively.
Assessment methods
Requirements for the colloquium are: regular attendance and participation in the course, homework and final project on the arrange theme.
