Course objectives
The course deals with many forms of Czech language on the internet; more precisely, on the style of people's language expression in particular kinds of internet communication and in some other selected spheres of modern communication in general. Students will be introduced to the theory of style-forming factors and this theory will be applied to texts from internet discussions, blogs etc. - where the influence of style-forming factors is well distinguishable - and this will be done through the form of discussion and collective analysis. We will use the projector for presentation of the analyzed texts or videos for more effective work.
