Course objectives
The course deals with the present-day situation of the norm of Standard Czech and on the tendencies of its further development; the topics dealt with will include eg the specific features of spoken vs written texts, the history and development of Czech orthography, rules of punctuation etc. The course will also focus on analyzing various types of texts.
