Dobrovský jako iniciátor snah o obnovu spisovného českého jazyka. Jeho spory s Jungmannem. Palacký žákem Dobrovského. Palackého pojetí smyslu českých dějin. Palackého vliv na K. Havlíčka. Vstup Masarykův do českého politického a kulturního života.
