Course objectives
This course called The 19th Century Czech Literature in Methodological Discussion should contribute to:
a) the deeper understanding of various motivations of drafting the history of the 19th century Czech literature by individual research schools in the past and of the state of research about the history of literature today; b) the effective and valuable use of theoretical knowledge from the fields of methodology, comparatistics, literary theory and history during concrete analyses and interpretations of the 19th century literary works, particularly during the individual creative activity of students.
