Course objectives
The course is intended for students who go to foreign universities for study or practical internship for one semester. The aim of the course is to help students with the preparation and implementation of their stay at a foreign university, both administratively and professionally, in order to be of maximum benefit to their studies.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
orientate themselves in the administrative issues related to the preparation of a foreign placement and studying at a foreign university;
reflect the professional profile of the foreign workplace in relation to the home workplace and use its potential for their own professional growth;
create an informative report of the stay for the website of the Institute of Czech Literature; share good practice with other students.

  • The curriculum is determined by the focus of the stay abroad and the choice of study subjects.

Administrative preparation of the placement (30%), the placement itself (30%), writing the final report (30%) and sharing good practice (10%).
