Course objectives
At the end and the during of the course student:
get an idea about the functioning of the student literary magazine;
will have the opportunity to participate in its operation;
get acquainted with the formation of various types of texts, practice them and could them also publish in the case of interest.
Syllabus
  • The course will focus on the acquisition of practical skills and experience. Own interest and ability to work independently are expected of its participants. Students will be involved in the preparation of the student literary magazine. They will learn the principles of making texts of different genres - reviews, short messages or reports, profiles, interviews, get the opportunity to revise their seminar essay or diploma thesis on the study, they can try proofreading other texts. Specific tasks will be assigned to each participant of the course by mutual agreement.
  • 1. Introduction to the principles of creating texts - reviews, news, reportage, locket, interview, professional studies.
  • 2. The practical works of some of these departments.
  • 3. Proofreading and third editing work - everything what is need to do that the magazine could be issued.
