Course objectives
The course focuses on the issue of e-learning and possible uses of online technologies in teaching Czech language and literature. At the end of the course, the student will be able to create an e-learning course in Moodle (ELF) and will have a grasp of basic terms concerning e-learning (LMS, blended learning, flipped classroom etc.).

  • 1. Basics of e-learning and Moodle
  • 2. Starting with ELF
  • 3. Use of iPads in a classroom/teaching
  • 4. Flipped classroom: Creating a video tutorial
  • 5. Creating posters: Promoting your own work at conferences and elsewhere
  • 6. External applications possible to use in ELF (e.g.timelines)

Teaching methods
Seminars will involve face-to-face and distant (e-learning) teaching, including regular workshops in the class.
Assessment methods
Group work: creating an e-learning course and a accompanying poster, followed by its successful presentation.
