Course objectives
Students will translate short Czech literary texts with help of Czech native speaker.
Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to understand and analyze the source texts at all levels; to learn to formulate the scopos of the target communication and text; to define the major strategy of a translation; to learn creative methods in the translation process; to explain own decisions how to translate a chosen text.
