Teaching methods
During the cours we will analyze Kundera’s texts. We will prepare extracts from his texts in chronological order. Students are expected to read the full text (collection of short stories / essays, an entire novel), if Czech translations are available.
Assessment methods
In order to receive credits it is necessary to successfully write the final school essay. It is also necessary to observe the following rules: 1 / Within one semester, the student must have 75% attendance in classes. In the case of lower participation the student will not be admitted to the final writing of the school essay, ie. she/he will not be allowed to finalize the course. 2 / Presence in the hour includes the fulfillment of the tasks set by the teacher (homework, presentations in class, etc.). Failure to fulfill these tasks (unprepared student) is evaluated as absence.
