Course objectives
Students will learn how to think about and discuss the concept of culture on several levels and from several different theoretical and practical perspectives. They will gain experience in how to develop a community project which fosters intercultural communication.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, a student will be: - Able to converse more accurately, respectfully, and openly about cultural differences - Familiar with the basic tools needed to do research in cultural studies and the humanities -Experienced in developing a personal project with the goal of fostering intercultural communication
